Aluminum anodizing is a very common aluminum surface treatment process. The whole process can protect the aluminum material and add decorative effects to the color of the aluminum material. It can be roughly divided into three stages: before, during and after anodizing. Let's take a closer look.
1. Surface pretreatment before oxidation Use chemical or physical methods to clean the surface of the profile, exposing the pure substrate, in order to obtain a complete and dense artificial oxide film. Mirror or matt (matt) surfaces can also be obtained by mechanical means.
2. Anodizing the aluminium profile after surface pretreatment, under certain process conditions, oxidation occurs on the surface of the substrate to form a layer of dense, porous and strong adsorption AL2O3 film.
3. Sealing after anodizing
Use a medium-temperature sealing agent to seal the pores of the porous oxide film formed after anodizing, so as to enhance the anti-pollution, corrosion resistance and wear resistance of the oxide film. The oxide film is colorless and transparent. Using the strong adsorption of the oxide film before sealing, some metal salts are adsorbed and deposited in the film pores, which can make the profile surface appear many colors other than the original color (silver white), such as: black, bronze, Golden yellow and stainless steel color, etc.
