Aluminum profiles are manufactured from aluminum rods or plates through processes such as hot melting, extrusion, and coloring.
Characteristics of industrial aluminum profiles
Aluminum profiles have good corrosion resistance and their conductivity and thermal conductivity are better than copper. They are also non-ferromagnetic materials, making them more suitable for application in the electronic and electrical industry. However, Casting defect such as shrinkage cavity, sand hole, air hole and slag inclusion are easy to appear in the production process of aluminum alloy.
The use of industrial aluminum profiles
1.Architecture: Insulated aluminum doors and windows, curtain wall aluminum profiles, etc.
2.Radiator: A radiator made of aluminum profiles, which can be used for cooling various power electronic equipment.
3.Industrial production and manufacturing: industrial aluminum profile accessories, automated mechanical equipment, assembly line conveyor belts, etc.
4.Automotive parts manufacturing: automotive luggage racks, doors, body, etc.
5.Furniture manufacturing: home decoration frames, all aluminum furniture, etc.
6.Solar photovoltaic profiles: Solar aluminum profiles, frames, brackets, etc.
7.Track lane structure: mainly used for manufacturing of rail vehicle body.
8.Decoration: Made of aluminum alloy frame, used for mounting various exhibitions or decorative paintings.
9.Medical equipment: production of stretcher frame, medical equipment, medical bed, etc.
National standard for industrial aluminum profiles
The national standard for industrial aluminum profiles is General Industrial Aluminum and Aluminum Alloy Extruded Shapes (GB/T6892-2006), but since this standard is lower than the standard for building aluminum profiles, industrial aluminum profiles are generally controlled by Aluminum Alloy Building Shapes (GB5237-2008).
