The fluorocarbon spraying process flow is:
Pretreatment process: degreasing and decontamination of aluminum profiles →water washing→alkali washing (degreasing)→water washing→acid washing→water washing→chromization→water washing→pure water washing
Spraying process: Primer spraying→topcoat→gloss coating→baking (180-250℃)→quality inspection
The multi-layer spraying process consists of three sprays (referred to as three sprays), including primer, topcoat, and topcoat, as well as secondary sprays (primer, topcoat).
1. Purpose of pretreatment: Before spraying aluminum alloy profiles , the surface of the workpiece needs to undergo degreasing, decontamination, and chemical treatment to produce a chromized film, increase the adhesion and oxidation resistance between the coating and the metal surface, and is conducive to extending the service life of the paint film.
2. Primer coating: As a primer coating for sealing the substrate, its function is to improve the impermeability of the coating, enhance the protection of the substrate, stabilize the metal surface layer, strengthen the adhesion between the topcoat and the metal surface, and ensure the color uniformity of the topcoat coating. The thickness of the paint layer is generally 5-10 microns.
3. Top coat coating: The top coat coating is a key layer of the spray coating, which provides the decorative color required for the aluminum material, making the appearance of the aluminum material meet the design requirements, and protecting the metal surface from external environmental atmosphere, acid rain, pollution, and UV penetration. The anti-aging ability is greatly enhanced. The top coat is the thicker one in spraying, and the thickness of the paint layer is generally 23-30 microns.
4. Glossy paint coating: Glossy paint coating, also known as varnish coating, mainly aims to more effectively enhance the paint layer's resistance to external corrosion, protect the topcoat coating, increase the metallic luster of the topcoat color, make the appearance more vivid and dazzling, and the coating thickness is generally 5-10 microns. The total thickness of the three spray layers is generally 40-60 microns, and can be thickened if special needs arise.
5. Curing treatment: the three spray coating generally needs secondary curing. The aluminum materials are treated in the curing furnace. The curing temperature is generally between 180℃-250℃, and the curing time is 15-25 minutes. Different Fluorocarbon manufacturers will provide better temperature and time according to their own coatings. Fluorocarbon spraying plants (curium oil plants) also have their own experience in changing the two curing times during the three spraying to one curing.
6. Quality inspection: Quality inspection should follow the AAMA-605.02.90 standard. Strict quality inspection is essential to ensure high-quality spraying products.
